1965 California State Science Fair


The 1965 California State Science Fair, which was then called the California Science Fair and hosted by the City of Commerce, was held on May 27-30. An Awards Banquet was held on the evening of Friday, May 28 with guest speaker Dr. Lee DuBridge, who was then President of the California Institute of Technology. Approximately 200 students from 7 counties in southern California participated in this fair.

Program of Projects
This Program of Projects was generously provided by Randy Schekman, a participant in the 1965 California State Science Fair.
A few years later Prof. Schekman served as the Keynote Address speaker for the 2015 Fair.
