2018 California Science & Engineering Fair

The 2018 California Science & Engineering Fair was held on April 23-24 within the California Science Center located in Exposition Park, just south of downtown Los Angeles.

This year there were 934 participants from 397 schools throughout the State presenting 795 projects in competition for $60,000 in total awards.

• Feb 5: Project Allocations for all affiliates
• Mar 1: Application directions with deadlines, by fair.
• Apr 17: Judge Registration is now closed to new applicants. The site remains open for judges to register their interest in next year’s fair.
• Apr 19: Science Fair Teacher of the Year Finalists Announced: Jennifer Claudio, Eric Hartung, Roxanna Jackman, Cathy Messenger, Najwan Naserelddin, and Christopher Petriccione.
• September 5: Top 300 Broadcom MASTERS Announced
• September 18: Broadcom MASTERS Finalists Announced
• October 23: Broadcom MASTERS Awards Announced
