2023 California Science & Engineering Fair

The 2023 California Science & Engineering Fair will be held on April 11. The fair is hosted by the California Science Center located in Exposition Park, just south of downtown Los Angeles, which is the authority responsible for the operation of the Fair.

This year we expect 900 participants from 400 schools throughout the State to present 800 projects in competition for over $60,000 in total awards, including the opportunities for the top award winners in the Junior Division to participate in the national Thermo-Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge, and for the top award winners in the Senior Division to compete in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).

Owing to continuing staffing limitations within the California Science Center, this year CSEF will again held entirely online.
