2015 California State Science Fair

The 2015 California State Science Fair was held on May 18-19 within the California Science Center located in Exposition Park, just south of downtown Los Angeles.

This year we had 968 participants from 425 schools throughout the State presenting 860 projects in competition for over $50,000 in total awards.

April 18: Category assignments announced
May 11: Science Fair Teacher of the Year Finalists announced: Deborah Brown, Alex Hofsteen, Robin Pearce, Jill Rivero, Wendi Rodriguez, and James Snyder.
May 19: Awards Announced
June 5: First Photographs Posted. Category Awards photos now available. Other photographs from all ceremonies and the judging interview period are in process.
June 10: All category award checks were mailed today. Major Fair Award checks are stil in process.
June 10: Major Fair Awards Photographs Posted. Special and Recognition Awards are in process, as are other photographs from all ceremonies and the judging interview period.
June 12: Photo essay posted on Wired.com.
June 15: All award checks have now been mailed. If you do not have yours in a few days, contact us immediately.
August 19: Broadcom MASTERS Semifinalists Announced
September 2: Broadcom MASTERS Finalists Announced
October 7: Broadcom MASTERS Awards Announced
